Meet Kevin and Adam

Kevin Lawrence

Kevin Lawrence grew up in Portland, OR and later graduated from Oklahoma Christian University (OC) in 2001 with a degree in Accounting. Over the past 5 years, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a publicly-traded regional bank.  Prior to his role as CFO, Kevin worked in public accounting, primarily with a “Big 4” accounting firm.

Incorporated into Kevin’s personal mission statement is a desire to “encourage others to reach their maximum potential” which led him to start mentoring young professionals beginning in 2013. To date, Kevin has mentored over 50 young professionals using his mentoring strategy, which covers 10 separate principles.

Kevin met his wife, Devin, at OC. Devin is currently the Director of Advancement at Oklahoma Christian School in Edmond, OK. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education at OC and later earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from University of Central Oklahoma in 2017.

Kevin and Devin have three children: Skylar (16), Londyn (15), and Lincoln (10). All three children currently attend Oklahoma Christian School.

Adam Lee

Adam Lee was born and raised in Oklahoma City, later attending the University of Oklahoma. Adam met his wife, and earned degrees in Accounting and Finance, at OU.

After graduation, Adam began his career at a "Big 4" accounting firm in Oklahoma City. Around 4 years ago, Adam left public accounting to begin working in corporate finance, where he's been for the last 4 years.

Also around 4 years ago, Adam stumbled into Kevin's acquaintance, completing Kevin's mentoring program. Through Kevin's mentorship program, Adam defined his mission statement, which includes (among other things) "helping others discover, define, and achieve their own version of success without judgement, persuasion, or unsolicited intervention." He hopes that comes through in his writing!
